Hounslow Golf Park will offer fun one-hour group golf experiences to try our golf for the first time!

No commitment, no stuffy dress rules, no experience needed. Our qualified golf coaches will guide you through the basics. Start on the Games Range and learn how to hold the club. Progress to hitting the ball – or not!

Bring your mates and have some fun. It’s sociable, it’s enjoyable, it’s a laugh! It’s the perfect way to “Get into Golf” at Hounslow Golf Park.

FAQs

Both the tees and greens are AstroTurf so won’t be affected by weather conditions.

Can I play in all weather?

Between 60-90 minutes dependant on skill level and peak/off peak times.

How long does it take to play the Knockabout 9?

You’re more than welcome to bring your own clubs with you but we will also have clubs and balls available for use.

Do I need to bring my own golf clubs/balls?

The KnockAbout 9 is a 9 hole par 3 course with no hole more than 100 yards. It is for both beginners who have never played before and experienced golfers looking to perfect their short-game.

Hounslow Golf Park’s KnockAbout 9 course designed by Lobb & Partners and is suitable for all levels of golfing ability

It’s perfect if you have “never held a club before” as well as ideal for the more seasoned golfers looking for somewhere to practise.
The pricing structure means its affordable for families and groups of friends.
It’s a non-demanding layout of 9 holes.
No hole is more than 100 yards making a hole in one an achievable aim.

The greens are made out of Astro Turf so you get year round quality experience. The Astro Turf is environmentally friendly as it does not need watering – sand and a brush do the job. The Astro Turf behaves like real grass so you can easily transfer your skills to another course. Have you tried the courses at Horton Park Golf or Chichester Golf or – for the more experienced – Hill Barn Golf Course?

Been over 15 times here and can really vouch and recommend this place. Family friendly interactive golf range with a ton of games and virtual golf courses to choose from. Friendly staff are there to take your food and drinks orders whilst you are at your golf bay so you can make the most out of your golfing time. Best to opt for at least 1 hour of golf as it takes 15 -20 mins to really get into the swing of things! Parking is paid but is reasonable and can be paid before leaving.

We really welcome the development of Good Time Golfin and the range of activities it brings to the area, it’s a great addition locally, and the facilities themselves are modern, well-kept, and enjoyable. As a family, we genuinely want to support venues like this and would happily return to try out more of the activities. That said, the major frustration for us has been the inconsistent approach to the Carer Pass and Blue Light discount. On one visit (3/09) the Carer Pass was accepted but the Blue Light discount was refused on the basis that it wasn’t valid during the school holidays, which was debatable. When we returned on 6/09, the Carer Pass was suddenly refused (despite us bringing all the required documentation) and the Blue Light discount was then declined on the basis it wasn’t valid after 6pm. It feels like the rules change depending on who you speak to, which leaves customers embarrassed and frustrated. I fully appreciate that structure is needed with these passes, especially with so many people now eligible, but it has to be applied fairly and consistently. Either you support the Blue Light services or you don’t; you can’t dip in and out depending on the day. These visits are not cheap, and it is uncomfortable to have to stand at the counter and debate with staff who themselves don’t seem clear on the standards. If Good Time Golfin can bring clarity and consistency around how these passes and discounts are applied, I think it could be an excellent family destination, and we would certainly consider coming back. For now though, the experience left us questioning whether to look at alternatives.

Lots of parking (paid) and the building is lovely and clean. We went to play footgolf and the kids enjoyed it. My only negative is that it’s very expensive to play. The cafe is great as are the outside areas to sit and relax.

“Such a good time golfing! The whole experience was fun, relaxed, and stress-free, making it a perfect day out. The staff are really friendly and welcoming, which makes a big difference. The course itself is easy to play and great for all abilities, so whether you’re just trying golf for the first time or want a casual game, it works really well. It’s also very family-friendly — great for kids and for a fun day out together, especially since it’s located right next to Gripped Hounslow, so you can make a full day of activities. One of the highlights is the interactive screens that track your scores and offer a variety of game modes, which makes it more engaging than just a standard round. The facilities are clean and well looked after, including the toilets, and there are plenty of areas to sit and relax before or after your game. They serve alcohol too, at fair prices, which is a nice extra touch if you’re there with friends. Pricing for golf is around £11 per person depending on the package, which I found to be good value for the experience. Overall, it’s a really enjoyable and affordable activity for families, groups of friends, or even a casual date. With friendly staff, modern features, and a welcoming atmosphere, I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for something fun and different to do.”
